CUPOLA project

Miss. Yuanyuan Wang visited Tsinghua University, School of Department of Energy and Power Engineering from 15^th Dec 2023-30^th Apr 2024. She met with Dr. Zhou Hui, my supervisor at the host school, and discussed our respective recent research activities while actively seeking collaboration opportunities. Subsequently, she attended several meetings of the large research group, engaging in discussions with them, listening to their various projects, and gaining insight into the current research trends in China from their perspective. Miss. Yuanyuan Wang also actively learned about their scientific approaches and research methods. During these meetings, she met editors from high-impact Chinese journals that have risen to prominence in recent years and learned about their aims and scopes. During the exchange period, she was introduced to various advanced scientific equipment within the group and used in-situ XRD to conduct a project, studying the crystal evolution of catalysts during the ICCU process at high temperatures. This experience significantly broadened her understanding and enriched her research perspective, fostering potential future collaborations.
