In November, Prof. Marek Jaszczur and PhD student Patryk Marczak from AGH University of Krakow visited the Department of Chemical Engineering at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, as part of the HORIZON MSCA Staff Exchanges project. The visit provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen international collaboration between research teams working on innovative and sustainable solutions for global environmental challenges. Prof. M. Jaszczur and Mr. P. Marczak discussed the key objectives of the CUPOLA project and introduced the AGH University of Krakow.
During the visit, the research team from Tsinghua University presented their current research topics, sharing insights into advanced studies on chemical engineering and sustainable material development. Topics included innovative strategies for waste management, material recycling, and reducing carbon footprints in industrial processes.
Both teams explored possibilities for collaborative research, joint publications, and further engagement within the CUPOLA project framework and beyond.
